Grass & Ground Cover
Turf, static grass, grass tufts, field grass, Ready Grass mats and ground scatter.
This category gathers the ground-covering materials used to dress model scenery. Fine Turf and Coarse Turf model grasses, weeds and low ground cover plant life, while Woodland Scenics Extra Coarse Turf is a large foam material for small bushes and coarse tree foliage. Static Grass Flock, a fibre product, and Noch Wild Grass, with longer fibres for fields, banks and embankments, add further options.
Other sections support the wider scene. Ready Grass Vinyl Mat is moldable, retains its shape for making hills, and has a removable turf for roads and water areas, with Ready Grass Accessories listed alongside it. Grass Tufts are intended to turn a flocked grass area into a natural looking meadow, and Tall Grasses and Reeds covers taller weeds and reeds. Current Amazon UK listings include Woodland Scenics Static Grass in 2mm and 4mm sizes and T60 Coarse Turf in Earth.
